Snakeskin and Japanese

Snakeskin and Japanese
Snakeskin and Japanese

These two books are bound in the coptic stab binding style. However one uses the Japanese style to hide the stitching in the inside, and also has the folded edges at the foredge as is typical in Japanese books.

The second book is a coptic style, with a black snakeskin cover. Unlike some leathers, snakeskin improves with age, and this uses a recycled handbag for the cover.

Each book is approximately 200mm x 140mm x 20mm.
