Last year we re-introduced the weekend workshop for beginners, after many years of courses only in the evenings. The workshop was held in Roleystone, and the facilities were excellent.
The Guild is very pleased to announce two new members to the Committee after health issues meant that two members were unable to re-nominate.
The Guild has a full schedule for workshops, guest speakers, competitions and demonstrations planned for 2016.
We are coming to the end of our courses scheduled for 2015. We have a Beginners weekend workshop to be held at the end of September, and an Advanced course running in November.
Members that attended the latest meeting were privileged to recieve an impromptu and entirely unexpected demonstration of blind and gold tooling on leather.

Jo and I have finally managed to finish our eBook on bookbinding. It has taken the best part of a year to create this interactive book on how to make your own books.
The first meeting of the year saw the presentation of the first round of orange books and boxes.
With the amazing success of the courses in 2014, we have scheduled the complete calendar for 2015.
