The Craft Bookbinders Guild, together with a number of other clubs, are combining in an Alliance in order to find a new home. It is hoped that sufficient interest will be generated such that a community centre for the preservation of our heritage may be created.

The hope is that a facility might be located, or created, that will allow for the permanent housing of a range of groups, providing for the museum, teaching, meeting and display capabilities of each. The Machinery Preservation Group has almost an acre of machinery in good working order, the Museum of Film andf Television is looking for a permamnet display location, a range of Men's Shed and Woodturning groups, the CWA, the Hand Tool Preservation Society and the Bookbinders are all looking for facilities.
