The Guild has a full schedule for workshops, guest speakers, competitions and demonstrations planned for 2016. The course schedule for the first half of the year is now posted, and over half of the available places have alreay been booked.
We have our first speaker booked in for our February meeting, with Tim Cooke, conservator at the State Library, agreeing to give us a talk. The subject will be on compactus books. See our events schedule for more details.
We will also be scheduling another paper marbling workshop for members, as well as running a mini book competition and a box making one, having a couple of workshops to help members prepare for the Royal Show, and attend a couple of events such as the Guildford Heritage Festival and the WA Craft Show.
As always, you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and we will try and get more articles on to this web site. It is going to be another big year and we look forward to meeting lots of new people and new members.
